Crossroad…
As I stated in my last post, I will go back to Jakarta for good in the near future. Why? everybody asked me and I only have one word for an answer… a “VISION.” I had a vision of a better life in Jakarta, a life where I can change things, I can make things better, helping others helping themselves. It’s hard for me to actually make the decision, all the nice things that I sacrifice in the States (the clean air, 12 MBps Cable Internet, 140 Channels of Cable TV, 401K, no traffic jam even in rush hours, laws and regulations that truly benefit the people, free speech, freedom of religion, etc.) but hey, everybody needs to make a decision for themselves and for their loved ones right? somebody got to do it, so I did.

So here are my thoughts:
With my cost of living in the States and my opportunity cost back in Indonesia, it’s a clear choice that Indonesia will give me a better future for me and my family.
Business wise, I already have a plan of what I’m going to do and with whom I’m going to do it… I’ll let you know when the time has come.
It’s better to be your own boss than to work for somebody else’s welfare.
Closer to my family, gosh I love them so much…
My imaginations:
I can see myself with my three kids and my beautiful wife in a beautiful villa with trees everywhere…
I can see myself managing a multi billion dollar company with the nicest staffs you can find anywhere in Jakarta.
I can see myself traveling all over the world without the fear of having not enough money to feed my family.
I can see myself making a bold new change in Jakarta and Indonesia… (anybody want to join in?)
I can see mysefl helping others grow and help themselves either in business or in their personal life.
May all these dreams come true… Amen!
